Hi, I'm Jake.

I work on a bunch of projects and started losing track of what I have done, so I created this site as a bit of a log that I could also hopefully use as a portfolio someday. Right now there isn't much here, but I plan on doing some write-ups for things I have done in the past and predating the posts to fill out the record.

I miss the old, human centered internet and wanted to create a personal site that isn't connected to a corporate social network or influenced at all by algorithms. I'm not posting for likes, I'm posting because I enjoy taking the time to write up posts. It's hosted in my basement on hardware that I own, like the before times. That's important to do, I think.
